Every piece starts as a jacket, a skirt or a vest someone stopped wearing, and leaves as a one-off.
Trained in fashion design at Istituto Marangoni, I treat the inside of a garment as material: canvas, seams and raw edges become the design.
A seashell bodice, made by hand, one shell at a time, for Kim Kardashian personally.
Hundreds of shells sewn onto white cotton and bound with loose black thread, so the piece reads like a shoreline drawn in ink.

I'm Ani Chopurian, a painter, fashion designer and UI/UX designer from Yerevan. I see brands and digital products as living spaces: every button has weight, every layout has tension, every interaction tells a story.
I founded ArtKvartal, a community and cultural hub for artists, and Bazaar, my upcycling label. Chop Studio brings all of it under one roof. My mission is simple: to create things that feel as good as they function.
